Wielu sponsorów projektów IT uważa, że najlepszym kierownikiem projektu będzie menedżer z biznesu, który jednocześnie jest przyszłym beneficjantem korzyści wynikających z wdrożenia. Z drugiej strony szefowie Biur Projektowych twierdzą, że zarządzanie projektem powinno powierzyć się profesjonalistom w tej dziedzinie, gdyż tylko oni zagwarantują osiągnięcie celu projektu w uzgodnionym terminie i budżecie. A może powinien nim kierować menedżer z IT? I od czego to zależy?

Projektem IT powinien kierować menadżer biznesowy w porozumieniu ze swoim zastępcą - fachowcem IT. Fachowcy biznesowi niekoniecznie mają szeroką wiedzę o IT, ale na ogół zdają sobie sprawę z tego, że nie są wszechwiedzący. Kluczem do sukcesu jest wytworzenie sytuacji w której Fachowiec IT i kierownik projektu będą bez przerwy współpracować. Dopiero takie połączenie osoby mającej wiedzę z osobą o zdolnościach menadżerskich daje pełną gwarancję fachowości wykonanej pracy.

Witam,
alternatywa to menedzer, ktory "wyrosl" ze srodowiska IT. Posiada on bardzo duza wrazliwosc na problemy projektu.
Podsumowujac, na takim stanowisku najlepiej sprawdzilby sie czlowiek z "pogranicza" IT i biznesu.
Moim zdaniem jezeli ma sie predyspozycje organizacyjne, to latwiej sie "nauczyc" kierowania projektem, niz zebrac wiedze i doswiadczenie informatyczne.
